I had my knees slightly bent for stability. The distance set at 6 feet at this moment.

I hold my shield about 4 feet from me covering me from my chin to just above my knee. I stand in a right foot lead with my feet shoulder width apart and my left held scimitar positioned against the left rim (MPOV) of my shield, I tap the shield with the scimitar once then nod, signifying my readiness*
Be aware your hight means your shield will cover to chin to just below your crotch. I have tape measures at all people people should know this by now lol everything else is fine

The distance would be broken down to a mere 3' from where you stood. Thus allowing me the ability for a clear attack. My feet still squared and bent slightly during the process.
With the distance set at 3' I would then simply thrust my left held blade forward with a slight rotation of the wrist to redirect the tip of the blade in a downwards manner aiming to send the blade into your right leg just around mid shin level.

ok your over complcting a simple defence. all you had to do is bend your knees fast to lower your body at the same time strightening your right forearm so your fist is pointing to the ground. job done. shuffling is not fast its slow swinging it open like a door to your right without lowering the shield will do nothing. you have a cut on your right leg. I think it would miss the shin as you move but it would cut along the outside of your lower right leg. hardlly a fight ending wound just yet but your wounded and bleeding and that leg will be slower.
part 2.
This sword is not a thrusting sword it is a hack and slash weapon. however the attack is fine

Your blade striking the face of the shield. The natural reposition of the shield placing the right most edge against my right shoulder and the left edge another 8” forward from it's original position.
I would use the momentum of the twist of my upper torso and the inward step to add to the momentum of my left held blade to slice from my left to my right towards the front of your leading ankle in an attempt to sever the food.-

says to .....Ragnar's Hammer....: *pivoting on my left foot drawing my right foot basck as I swing my shiwld in front of me, bending my knees and bringing the shield face tilted back protecting my feet from toes to low shin in an attempt to make sure the blade dances off the shield face. As I do that,
I bring my lefr held sword in a counterclockwise (MPOV) motion and try to get under your shield and aim for your left foot. The attempt is to drive the blade in between your ankles and cause you to fall tot he sand or cause you to favor it for the final round*

All you needed to do was step back 2 foot fast with both feet because the way he moved his sword moved it could take both legs out if it did not get the first. you pull just the right leg back. you dont say how far but your left pivoted but is in the same place so his sword going from his left. your right to his right your left. the lowering of the shield is too slow you have a cut off left leg. the sword would just keep going to his right. your left. so fight over
Due to reduced wound you have too cuts one on your left ankle that needs some stitching and one on your lower right leg.

During this time I would rotate my wrist to cause my blade to be aimed downwards with the tip aimed towards the sand the sand in parallel with my right foot the blade against the ground.
With that being said and your blade behind held off to my left now, I would step forward and to my right by pushing off with my right foot, making sure to keep your blade off and to my left. I would end leading with my right foot in the lead and my center torso angled off to your left outside shoulder at a distance of one foot, as we were already close. My shield coming forward and downwards with the bottom most edge of the shield aimed to strike the top rim of your shield, while simultaneously my left arm had raised during the forward moment and would then come down in a vertical manner to strike behind your shields rim and ontop of your right shoulder at the clavicle if possible.

says to | =The Brigand= | Timoth: -Thinking that you perhaps got caught up in your shield I would lean forward with the upper torso by 8 inches leaving a mere 4 inches between you and I with the shields crushing against one another, my right foot kicking up behind me so the tip of the toe was around 18” further back then where it had been, using the natural momentum of my body and the re positioning to continue the downward strike.

Timotheus cut to lower right leg on the outside. cut to left leg somewhere on the ancle or on the neck of the foot.
Timotheus. he did basic attacks here. all easy to defend. you over complcated your defence. Simple woudl have worked much better here. but your getting better.
